The European Higher Education Interoperability Framework
The European Higher Education Interoperability Framework responds to the need for seamless digital teaching and learning across European borders, as envisaged in the Digital Education Action Plan (2021-2027). The framework brings together key reference architecture elements, high-level business flow diagrams and recommendations that guide concrete solutions to fill identified gaps. Developed in collaboration with experts from the higher education interoperability working group of the European Digital Education Hub and the European University alliances, the framework reflects a shared vision and a strong commitment from higher education and policy stakeholders to harmonise digital processes and support Europe-wide student mobility and virtual campuses between universities.
