**IAedu aims to be FCT's digital service, developed by FCCN, which aims to democratize access to Artificial Intelligence.**
This platform provides **centralized and simplified access to large-scale language models (LLM)** , saving time and resources. It offers **the Pro version of multiple AI models free of charge in a single portal** , through individual federated authentication.
It aims **to democratize access** — **for higher education students and researchers** — **to emerging technologies,** to promote equity and **avoid inequalities in the use of resources that can transform learning** and drive innovation.
Creating synergies and economies of scale through centralized contracting and provision is also our goal, while also ensuring the promotion of efficiency through knowledge sharing and joint learning.
The IAedu pilot project was thus born, completing a set of more than 25 FCT digital services, developed by FCCN, which drive Technology and promote Knowledge in Portugal.
